Theresa Whitehill served as Poet Laureate for the city of Ukiah, California, from 2009 to 2011. Her current book of poetry, A Grammar of Longing, was issued by Pygmy Forest Press in 2009. In 1998 she served as Poet-in-Residence for Stags’ Leap Winery, participating in salons that lead to the catalog, { Napa Valley: Portrait of a Community }.
